Job description
analysis of production plans/forecasts on a daily, weekly, monthly, annual basis to ensure continuity of production;
placing orders based on international purchasing rules (LT, MOQ, Incoterms);
negotiation of purchase terms with suppliers;
daily planning of material requirements;
monitoring of delivery times;
day-to-day monitoring of warehouse stocks
clearing of commercial documents;
customs clearance of imported goods;
assessment/qualification of suppliers;
liaising with all departments in the company (Warehouse, OPS, Finance).
Job requirements
min. 2 years of experience in a similar position;
experience of working with a foreign client;
knowledge of international purchasing rules (Lead time, Minimum Order Quantity, Incoterms);
knowledge of IT systems supporting logistics processes (knowledge of PUESC would be appreciated);
practical knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel;
knowledge of English at a level that allows free communication (B2) - working with international customers and branches of the company;
knowledge of customs law is an advantage;
independence and very good organisational skills,
communication and team-working skills.
