Job description
- supervision of two locations (in PL and foreign branch) in the area of order control, clarification of escalations from the customer, sharing of orders minimising material shortages;
- inventory management for the two locations;
- contact with external customers and suppliers;
- cooperation with our site in the USA/Mexico in the area of demand for repair parts;
- Planning and analysis of demand in terms of possible material shortages for PL and US;
- Analysis of production and repair plans in terms of logistical conditions for order allocation and parts transfer;
- preparation of data for QBR (quarterly business reviews) costs/shortages/improvement opportunities;
- cooperation with carriers, couriers and logistics partners;
- managing price lists with special focus on courier shipments.
- working closely with the warehouse and production department;
- introducing improvement measures throughout the supply chain.
Job requirements
- min. 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- experience of working with foreign customers;
- experience in the area of parcel post and working with carriers;
- very good knowledge of customs law, including special procedures;
- knowledge of IT systems supporting logistics processes (knowledge of PUESC would be appreciated);
- practical knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel;
- knowledge of English at a level that allows you to communicate freely (B2) - working with international clients and branches of the company;
- operability and knowledge of the courier market;
- independence and very good organisational skills,
- communication and teamwork skills.
