Job description

  • supervision of two locations (in PL and foreign branch) in the area of order control, clarification of escalations from the customer, sharing of orders minimising material shortages;
  • inventory management for the two locations;
  • contact with external customers and suppliers;
  • cooperation with our site in the USA/Mexico in the area of demand for repair parts;
  • Planning and analysis of demand in terms of possible material shortages for PL and US;
  • Analysis of production and repair plans in terms of logistical conditions for order allocation and parts transfer;
  • preparation of data for QBR (quarterly business reviews) costs/shortages/improvement opportunities;
  • cooperation with carriers, couriers and logistics partners;
  • managing price lists with special focus on courier shipments.
  • working closely with the warehouse and production department;
  • introducing improvement measures throughout the supply chain. 

Job requirements

  • min. 5 years of experience in a similar position;
  • experience of working with foreign customers;
  • experience in the area of parcel post and working with carriers;
  • very good knowledge of customs law, including special procedures;
  • knowledge of IT systems supporting logistics processes (knowledge of PUESC would be appreciated);
  • practical knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel;
  • knowledge of English at a level that allows you to communicate freely (B2) - working with international clients and branches of the company;
  • operability and knowledge of the courier market;
  • independence and very good organisational skills,
  • communication and teamwork skills.
