About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Systems & Process Improvement Engineer to support and enhance our Value Recovery Services operations. Based in Grapevine, Dallas, this role bridges engineering, operations, R&D, and customer support to drive automation, efficiency, solve complex challenges, and deliver high-impact technical solutions.

You will play a critical role in managing systems, developing process improvements, supporting R&D initiatives, resolving technical issues, and interfacing with customers to ensure their needs are translated into scalable, practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automation: Drive process improvements through use of automation tools, AI and robotics.

  • System Management: Oversee the performance and optimization of value recovery processes and technical systems, ensuring high availability and effectiveness.

  • Process Improvement: Analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement data-driven solutions to increase yield, reduce cost, and boost quality.

  • R&D Coordination: Work closely with internal R&D teams to pilot, validate, and integrate new technologies, tools, and recovery strategies into operations.

  • Solution Development: Design and implement technical solutions for complex problems in hardware repair, testing, and refurbishment environments.

  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide advanced technical support for internal teams and external customers; investigate root causes and implement long-term fixes.

  • Customer Interaction: Act as a technical liaison, translating customer needs into engineering requirements and ensuring prompt, accurate communication and solutions.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and changes. Present findings and project updates to key stakeholders.

Job requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, Systems, or related field) or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in system/process engineering, electronics repair/refurbishment, or a related field.

  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills in electronics and systems.

  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies preferred.

  • Comfortable collaborating across departments (R&D, Operations, Quality, Customer Success).

  • Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience.

  • Curious mindset with a passion for experimentation and intelligent problem-solving.
