Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Test and Software Engineer to support our production lines by developing software systems and applications that enhance process efficiency and product quality. This role is a unique blend of test engineering and software development, requiring technical expertise, creativity, and strong communication skills to address operational challenges and deliver systematic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Software Development:

    • Design, develop, and maintain software applications and tools to improve production line efficiency and quality.

    • Automate testing processes and integrate testing capabilities into existing systems.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets operational needs.

  2. Testing and Quality Assurance:

    • Develop and implement test plans, frameworks, and scripts to validate system functionality and reliability.

    • Identify and troubleshoot software and system issues, providing timely solutions.

    • Ensure all software solutions comply with quality standards and best practices.

  3. Process Improvement:

    • Analyze current production processes and identify areas for improvement.

    • Partner with operational leaders to understand challenges and propose data-driven solutions.

    • Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics tools to monitor and enhance performance.

  4. Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with production, engineering, and operational teams to align software solutions with business goals.

    • Provide training and documentation for developed systems and tools.

    • Act as a liaison between technical teams and operational leaders to bridge knowledge gaps.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in software development and/or test engineering.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and .Net.

  • Experience with databases, APIs, and integrating software with hardware systems.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or custom dashboard development.

  • Knowledge of industrial automation and IoT technologies.

  • Understanding of reverse logistics or remanufacturing processes.

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies.

  • 3D design capability with SolidWorks

  • Experience with FDM manufacturing
