Within the QHSE department of Reconext Zoetermeer, we are looking for a QHSE Specialist.
The Role
As a QHSE Specialist, you ensure that all quality, legal, and regulatory requirements seamlessly come together in one powerful and structured Quality Management System (QMS). You move effortlessly between strategy and operations and know how to implement improvements with support and persuasion.
You report to the QHSE Manager of Reconext ZTM.
What You Will Do
Develop, optimize, and manage an integrated QMS (ISO, customer requirements, and legislation)
Independently conduct internal audits and support external audits
Drive continuous improvement with a focus on collaboration and ownership
Draft and maintain procedures, inspection plans, and improvement strategies
Monitor and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly inspections
Advise on certifications and compliance
Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
Co-responsible for quality and HSE reporting
Coordinate corrective actions towards customers and suppliers
Manage QHSE documentation and align with EMEA/Global
Actively increase quality awareness, for example by delivering training sessions, toolbox meetings, or presentations
Job requirements
Who You Are
You are analytical, accurate, and always place quality at the forefront. You effortlessly translate complex standards and guidelines into clear, practical processes and know how to engage colleagues in implementing them. With your persuasiveness and natural leadership, you create organizational support. You combine strategic insight with a hands-on mentality and feel responsible for safeguarding and continuously improving processes.
You hold a completed bachelor’s degree (HBO), preferably in auditing, quality management, or project management, and have at least 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role. You possess knowledge of quality assurance and inspection procedures, are well familiar with applicable ISO and other certifications, and have working knowledge of statistical process control methods, which you effectively apply in practice.
What You Bring
Experience with management systems such as ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, RBA, and/or Weeelabex
Experience in embedding standard requirements within a QMS
An integrated mindset, keeping systems compact and effective
Tact and diplomacy in change processes
Strong communication skills, both on the shop floor and with management
The ability to work independently while feeling strongly connected to the team
An intrinsic drive for quality and continuous improvement
Proficiency in Dutch and English
