Job description

  • analysis of production plans/forecasts on a daily, weekly, monthly, annual basis to ensure continuity of production;

  • placing orders based on international purchasing rules (LT, MOQ, Incoterms);

  • negotiation of purchase terms with suppliers;

  • daily planning of material requirements;

  • monitoring of delivery times;

  • day-to-day monitoring of warehouse stocks

  • clearing of commercial documents;

  • customs clearance of imported goods;

  • assessment/qualification of suppliers;

  • liaising with all departments in the company (Warehouse, OPS, Finance).


Job requirements

  • min. 5 years of experience in a similar position;

  • experience of working with a foreign client;

  • knowledge of international purchasing rules (Lead time, Minimum Order Quantity, Incoterms);

  • knowledge of IT systems supporting logistics processes (knowledge of PUESC would be appreciated);

  • practical knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel;

  • knowledge of English at a level that allows free communication (B2) - working with international customers and branches of the company;

  • knowledge of customs law is an advantage;

  • independence and very good organisational skills,

  • communication and team-working skills.
