Position Summary
The Production Team Lead supports and guides employees within a work cell or function. This role is responsible for ensuring production goals are met, training employees, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure production targets and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are achieved.

  • Provide supervision, coaching, and guidance to assigned employees.

  • Balance workflow by reallocating trained personnel as needed.

  • Act as a point of communication and problem-solving production issues.

  • Identify and escalate production slowdowns.

  • Coordinate effectively with other departments.

  • Monitor compliance with safety, ESD, and security requirements.

  • Track and report daily performance metrics, including yield, errors, rework, and audit results.

  • Review and apply procedures for scheduled products.

  • Train new employees and support ongoing employee development.

  • Communicate shift schedules and ensure employees have necessary supplies.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job requirements

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 1-3 years of related experience and/or training.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

  • Basic computer skills (Excel, email).

  • Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
