POSITION SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Generalist provides a variety of Human Resources services and support in several key areas.  Duties may include but are not limited to; employee engagement, recruitment, on-boarding, organizational development, talent management, compensation and compliance. This position may also contribute to special initiatives, programs and projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

·       Supports organizational effectiveness through alignment of people, processes, structure, and culture with business strategies. 

·       Monitors contingent staffing process; partners with agency representatives.

·       Leads end-to-end recruitment process in order to meet the staffing needs for quality, quantity and timeliness. 

·       Takes initiative to manage employee data in HRIS; maintains data integrity. 

·       Provides HR metrics and makes recommendations to improve business performance.    

·       Work with HR management on projects to improve organizational culture and climate. 

·       Work with Shared Services on the implementation of programs. 

·       Coaches managers, supervisors and line leaders on effective staff management and the correct application of internal labor regulations, policies disciplinary actions and procedures.

·       Promotes company culture.     

·       Promotes recognition programs. 

·       Reviews and approves performance evaluations of staff.

·       Responsible for development and coordination of events for staff within approved budget.

·       Conducts investigations. 

·       Partner with HR team and business leaders on regional projects and programs.  

·       Performs exit interviews and analyzes trends for organizational changes.

·       Interfaces with employees regarding questions related to hours, wages, timecards, and general concerns.

·       Performs other duties as assigned. 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

·       Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related field preferred.

·       Experience with end-to-end recruitment of talent. 

·       Experience managing through organizational change. 

·       Strong written and verbal communications. 

·       Ability to manage competing priorities. 

·       Experience in manufacturing preferred. 

Experience in MS Office, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
