Position: Electronics Repair Team Lead

Position Summary:

The Electronics Repair Team Lead is responsible for supporting and leading the Production team by gathering data, training, and providing guidance to employees assigned to a work cell or function.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Drives the production SLA’s (Service Level Agreements)

• Provides supervision and guidance to assigned employees.

• Responsible for movement of trained personnel to effect line balancing.

• Serves as an educator, communicator, and problem resolution link for all production issues.

• Identifies and reports any slowdowns in production.

• Coordinates and communicates with all departments as needed.

• Works in a team to address and/or improve production issues.

• Monitors and reports violations applicable to safety, ESD and security rules or regulations.

• Tracks and reports daily trend information such as yield, process errors, rework data, audit failures.

• Reviews and understands procedures for products scheduled.

• May require training any new employees.

• Identifies training needs and works with staff to ensure needs are consistently met.

• Communicates the shift's schedule to employees.

• Ensures everyone has the appropriate supplies available, i.e. boxes, bags, etc.

• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed.


Job requirements

Education/ Work Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);

• 1-3 years related experience and/or training;

• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of employees.

• Some computer skills – excel/email OR

• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
