Automation Robotics Engineer
Location: Grapevine, TX
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automation Robotics Engineer to develop and implement automated robotic test systems in a manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with customers, contract manufacturers (CM), and internal engineering teams to translate technical requirements into scalable, reliable automation solutions.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in robotics, automation, and programming, along with hands-on experience integrating robotic systems into production operations.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with customers, contract manufacturers, and internal teams to define automation testing requirements and ensure successful system integration.
Design, develop, and implement automated robotic test processes.
Create and review technical specifications, system architectures, and project plans related to robotic testing solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate new robotic test systems with existing manufacturing infrastructure.
Perform system testing, validation, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.
Provide technical support and training to internal teams and customers on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and safety regulations throughout development and deployment.
Document all project activities, including design specifications, validation protocols, and technical reports.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Proven experience developing and deploying robotic systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong programming skills in C++, Python, and/or ROS (Robot Operating System).
Solid understanding of robotics principles, automation technologies, motion control, and control systems.
Hands-on experience with system integration, testing, and validation in a production setting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality, reliable automation solutions.
Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) strongly preferred to support collaboration with Mandarin-speaking clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
